The following updates have been implemented in our course content. These updates are automatically reflected in your course(s) and will not require new assignments.

Preventing Workplace Harassment - US (v11:1.2)

  • Added additional information around why calling someone a "Karen" is not appropriate in the workplace in the "What are Protected Characteristics" lesson
  • Added a statement regarding our commitment to authenticity when casting trans and non-binary actors in our "What Makes Conduct Red and Toxic" lesson
  • Replaced instances of "transmen" and "transwomen" with "trans men" and "trans women" to be consistent with the correct terminology
  • Minor typos and grammatical errors corrected

Unconscious Bias (v3:1.2)

  • Adjusted Gender Bias card in "The Negatives of Pattern Matching" lesson to address perceived gender, as the assumed gender based on appearance is not always accurate or correct

Workplace Violence (v4:1.2)

  • Replaced the Iowa example of workplace violence in the "What is Workplace Violence?" lesson with an example from South Carolina, in which a customer threw hot coffee in an employee's face

Workplace Safety (v4:1.2)

  • Replaced the Iowa example of workplace violence in the "What is Workplace Violence?" lesson with an example from South Carolina, in which a customer threw hot coffee in an employee's face

Insider Trading (v2:1.1)

  • Replaced the term "black-out notices" with "closed trading notices"

Global Data Privacy (v2:1.1)

  • Added additional information regarding data and information privacy as it relates to the European Union (EU). This includes replacing the term "resident" with "individual" as data privacy laws and regulations can extend beyond official "residents" within the EU

Common Questions and FAQs

Q: If we customized our course, will we receive these updates?

Whether or not you will see the updated content depends on the level to which your course was customized. If there is an update made to a card that was not customized, that card will display the updated material.

If the update required adding an additional card to a lesson that you had previously customized, that update will not appear in your course. Any customized cards within your course will not display updated content.
