If an employee forgets their password and cannot reset it themselves, you can help by generating a temporary password for them.
Reset the User’s Password
- Navigate to Users and find the user you want to update in the Users Table.
- Select View Profile for the user.
- Select Generate Temporary Password. This immediately creates a temporary password for the user and deactivates their old one.
- Copy the password and provide it directly to the user.
The temporary password doesn’t expire, allowing employees to complete the process when convenient.
User Login Process
The user enters the temporary password on the login screen along with their email address or employee ID.
After selecting Log In, they’ll be prompted to create and confirm a new password. They then select Save and Log In to activate the new password.
