Although deploying a campaign triggers multiple automated workflows, you can still make some changes to Active or Scheduled campaigns without disrupting the campaign.
What You Can Change
You can make these updates to in-progress campaigns:
- Campaign Title: You can edit the title of your campaign at any time. For example, you might want a more specific title for your project tracking needs after deployment. Campaign titles are admin-facing and don’t appear to your learners.
- Assignment Changes: You can change your mind about whether have assignment changes occur automatically or require approval at any time. Learn about Assignment Changes in Campaigns.
- Notifications: You can modify notifications for an active campaign by changing their timing, adding new ones, or updating their content. Learn about Making Changes to Notifications in an Active Campaign.
What You Cannot Change
Once your campaign is running, there are certain settings that need to stay fixed. We lock these settings to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of learners’ progress and to maintain the integrity of tracking and reporting data:
- Dates: Your campaign’s start date and end date, or duration, must remain unchanged in order to properly trigger notifications.
- Content: You cannot add or remove content. This protects the accuracy of reporting data and prevents content from disappearing from a learners queue during an active campaign.
- Groups: The assigned learner groups stay fixed, in order to ensure that the right learners receive training content. (Individual learners may move in or out of your campaign automatically if they join or leave groups connected to your campaign.)
-
Enforce Sequence: You can’t change your initial choice about whether learners work through the content in a particular order, as content order is initialized as soon as you deploy your campaign.
