Campaign notifications are messages you set up to communicate with learners about their assigned training. This article will help you understand the differences between the four types of campaign notifications, or emails, so that you can utilize the best ones for your campaign.
The notifications that learners receive greet them by first and last name, which is based on the First Name and Last Name fields in their user profile.
Welcome Notification
A Welcome notification informs learners that they have new training assignments and provides the link to begin their coursework. Every campaign includes a pre-loaded welcome notification that you can customize as needed. This message starts the training process and you schedule it to go out when the campaign begins.
The welcome notification includes a Get Started button, which learners must select to start their training assignment. A link is also displayed, which learners can optionally paste into their browser.
Reminder Notification
Reminder notifications help learners remember their training assignments and encourage continued progress. You can schedule multiple reminder notifications throughout your campaign that go to learners who still haven’t completed their training to maintain engagement. Once learners complete their assignments, they stop receiving reminder notifications.

Past Due Notification
Past Due notifications target learners who haven't completed their training by the established due date. You can schedule multiple past due messages to provide continued encouragement and information about next steps. These notifications help ensure compliance requirements are met even after the initial campaign period ends.
Completion Notification
A Completion notification congratulates learners when they finish their training assignments, with a link to their completion certificate, if one has been configured. You need only one completion message per campaign, and it goes out within an hour of the learner completing all of the assignments in the campaign.
