If a learner received an assignment they shouldn’t have, start by running a Content Completion Report for that content. Find the learner in the report using the search fields at the top of the table. Then check the Group column. Add it to the report if it’s not already visible.
Next, find the group in the Groups List. If it’s a Static group, remove the learner from the group. This will cancel the assignment. If it’s a Dynamic group, review the group rules to determine why the learner was included. If there was a mistake, you may need to correct the learner’s user profile to remove them from the group. Alternatively, you can add a rule that excludes the learner from the group. Either of these actions will cancel the learner’s assignment.
Changes to Dynamic Group rules don’t take effect immediately. The learner’s assignment will be canceled within the hour.
