Emtrain sends two types of emails to users.
- System-generated emails include account activation and reset password. The account activation email is sent immediately when you create a user manually if you select User-created for the password—no email is sent if you select Admin-created for the password. The password reset email is sent in response to a user request.

Campaign notifications. Campaign assignment notifications are sent to learners on Emtrain-hosted accounts just after midnight (Pacific time), if the campaign was deployed at least one day prior to its start date. If the campaign is deployed on the same day as its start date, notifications are sent within an hour. The system sends reminder and past due notifications just after midnight (Pacific time) on the date scheduled. Campaign completion notifications are sent within an hour of the learner completing all assignments in a given campaign.
