Your training opens in a single window. It contains the lessons in your assignment, the content you're working through, and a few settings you can adjust as you go.
The lesson list
The panel on the left lists every lesson in your assignment. Completed lessons are marked with a checkmark, and the lesson you're currently viewing is highlighted. Select any lesson to jump to it.
On a phone or a narrow browser window, this panel is hidden. Tap the menu icon to open it.
Some courses also ask you to spend a minimum amount of time in the training. If yours does, a time requirement appears at the top of this panel with a progress bar showing the minutes you've completed so far. For more on this, see How can I tell if I've completed my training?
The content
Lesson content appears in the main area to the right, with a note above the lesson title showing which lesson you're on and how many there are in total. Scroll down to move through the content. A lesson mixes several kinds of content: passages to read, videos to watch, and questions to answer. Some content requires you to interact with it before you can continue. For example, you may need to watch a video all the way through or answer a question before the rest of the lesson unlocks.
When you reach the end of a lesson, continue on to the next one from the lesson list or with the button at the bottom of the page.
Your settings
A set of round buttons floats along the upper-right edge of the screen. From top to bottom:
| The Person icon opens your account details. | |
| The Globe icon changes the language of the training. | |
| The Speaker icon turns audio narration on or off. An × next to the speaker means narration is off. |
Saving and leaving
A bar across the top of the screen holds the Save & Exit button on the right, along with a reminder not to close your browser window when you're finished.
Use Save & Exit every time you step away, so your progress is recorded and sent back to your company's learning system.
Questions along the way
Select Ask Ema in the bottom-right corner at any time. Ema can send a question about the training topic to a subject matter expert, point you to our help articles, or connect you with technical support.
