You can preview any content in the Content Library at any time to experience the questions and video scenarios learners will encounter. Additionally, you can understand how responses generate workplace insights data—without affecting your training reports or analytics.
How to Preview Content
To preview content from your Content Library:
- Navigate to the Content Library and locate the content you wish to preview.
- Select the title for that content, which opens the Content Details Page.
- If the content has multiple versions, use the version dropdown to choose the version that you wish to preview.
- Select the Preview Content option.
- The content opens in a new tab or window, displaying exactly what learners will experience during their training.
A banner across the top of the screen indicates you're in preview mode.
When previewing content, you experience all interactive elements exactly as learners do, including watching videos, downloading transcripts, answering questions, and navigating through lessons.
Exit preview mode by either closing the tab in your web browser or selecting Close Preview.
Understanding Preview Data
In Preview mode, your answers are not recorded and are not reflected in any reports or in Emtrain Intelligence data. The data displayed during preview mode is sample data and not based on your organization’s activity. This means that you or other admins can freely interact with preview content without skewing results.
