Yes, you can delete rules from a dynamic group at any time, even if a group is connected to an active campaign. Exercise caution when deleting rules because they are based on logic statements that impact all group members and who receives assignments.

Some reasons why you might delete a rule:

  • To remove an existing exclusion rule. If your group includes a user email for someone you excluded, but now want to include, you can remove the rule that excludes them. For example, if you have the rule Email IS NOT name@company.com, you can remove the rule to include the person. They will now receive training assignments.
  • To eliminate duplicate rules. If you have two rules with the same information, delete one of them to avoid confusion.
