By default, courses are enabled to include a Completion Certificate, which is available for learners to download from the final screen of a course. You have the option to keep this enabled or disable the certificate if you don’t want it to appear in a course.
If you are using a Completion Certificate, you have the option to customize both the Text on the Completion Certificate Card as well as Text on the Completion Certificate. This can be helpful if you want to address specific requirements or add information particular to your organization. Certificate Text can be modified to include specific download instructions or organization-specific language.
To edit the settings of a Completion Certificate:
- Navigate to the Content Library and locate the content you wish to rename.
- Select the title for that content, which opens the Content Details Page.
- If the content has multiple versions, use the version dropdown to choose the version that you want to edit the certificate for.
- Select Optional Configurations.
- If you want to include a completion certificate for the course, leave the option set to Yes for Include downloadable Completion Certificate at the end of the course? Select No if you don’t want a completion certificate.
- Optional: You can change the default text that appears in the Text on the Completion Certificate Card field. Completion Certificate Card text is limited to 255 characters.
- Optional: You can change the default text in the Text on the Completion Certificate field. The text on the completion certificate is limited to 255 characters.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save Changes to keep your changes.
- To preview how certificate text appears to learners, select View Sample Certificate after saving your changes.
