Yes, usually. Course completion certificates display the learner’s First Name and Last Name from their Emtrain user profile.
For Emtrain-hosted accounts: You can update those profile fields at any time. Once you make the correction, the learner can download a new certificate showing the updated name. An admin can download the corrected certificate from the User Assignments List, or the learner can download it from the Completed tab in Learner mode.
For LMS-connected accounts: Your LMS manages user information, including First and Last Name. To ensure names appear correctly on certificates, contact your LMS administrator to update the user’s profile there. Avoid making changes directly in Emtrain, which will be overwritten by your LMS data the next time the user launches Emtrain training. If your LMS allows learners to access courses they’ve already completed, they can open the course and retrieve their corrected certificate. However, some LMS platforms do not support this functionality.
