The Campaigns Content List is how you manage the content you plan to use in your campaigns. By default, it contains any content that you've previously deployed, any content that Emtrain customized for your account, and our most popular standard Emtrain courses. You and other admins on your account can add or remove content from the list to fit your needs.
The Campaigns Content List includes several features that help you understand and add content to a campaign—from the details displayed on each content card to the list’s search, filter, and sort functionality.
Searching
You can search for a title in the Campaigns Content List by keyword or Content ID.
When searching by keyword, use the title of the content. If you know only one or two words in a title, use those. As you type, the system automatically displays matching content.
If you changed the content title for learners, use that title in your search.
Filtering
Use the filtering tools to display only what you need. The Show dropdown filters the list by content type, custom content, and current editions. Select from all content types, or display only courses, microlessons, diagnostics, course lessons, current editions, or custom content. Selecting Custom will return any content that you have customized in partnership with our content team.
When you filter by Current Editions, older editions are hidden from view, helping you focus on the most up-to-date content for your organization. If no current edition has been added to your Campaign Content List, that content title won’t appear when this filter is applied.
Sorting
Use the sorting tools to reorder the content displayed. Use the Sort By dropdown to sort the Campaigns Content List alphabetically or by date added. By default, the list is sorted by date added. Date Added is the date on which the content was added to the list. Alphabetical sorts the content titles A-Z.
Title Count
The number of content titles in your Campaigns Content List is displayed at the top of your list. This represents all of the titles currently available for you to add to campaigns.
The Campaigns Content List contains content from the Content Library that you or other admins selected for use in campaigns or that was added by default. Your Content Library holds all content licensed to your account. If you want to deploy content that's not currently on your Campaigns Content List, you can add it from the content library. Content Cards
Each piece of content in the list is represented by a card. These enable you to preview content details, select content for your campaigns, and remove the content from the Campaigns Content List.
The list may contain multiple cards with the same content title. For example, you might have several Preventing Workplace Harassment cards—each one represents a unique version of that title. Each content card includes the following information:
- Content Title: This is the original title of the content unless you configured a title for learners, which is then displayed.
- Content Type: Course, Course Lesson, Microlesson, or Diagnostic.
- Content Data: Information about the audience, duration, time requirement, custom editions, and the Content ID. This information will vary by content title, but all content displays the audience type, duration, and Content ID.
For details about a piece of content, including a detailed description of the content, select the ‘open in a new window’ icon that appears in the upper-right corner of the thumbnail image when you hover over the card. This opens the Content Details Page, where you can read a detailed description of the training, preview it, make optional configurations, and update related policies—as well review other available versions.
Adding Content to Your Campaign
Add content to a campaign by selecting the “+” symbol that displays in the lower-right corner when you hover over the card, or by dragging a piece of content into the content section of the campaign.
After you add content to your campaign, it is grayed out in the Campaigns Content List and a checkmark icon displays in the lower-right corner. This helps you distinguish between content you’ve already added to the campaign and content in your list that is still available.
Removing Content from the Campaigns Content List
If you accidentally add content to your Campaigns Content List or want to clear old editions from your list, you can remove the content. To do so:
- Select the “x” in the upper-right corner of the card for the content that you want to remove.
- Select “OK” when prompted to confirm that you want to remove the content from your Campaigns List. Alternatively, select “Cancel” if you’ve changed your mind and want to keep the content.
If you want to re-add content that you accidentally removed from your list, navigate to the Content Library to do so.
