The Manage menu is the application's control center. Every action you take as an admin starts here—from selecting content to running reports.
The menu is located on the left side of your screen. It’s a permanent feature of your workspace that you can access from anywhere.
Dashboard
When you log in as an Emtrain administrator, the Dashboard is your welcome screen. It’s where you’ll find key account insights and information, quick access to technical support and help resources, and timely information about news and events from Emtrain.
Campaigns
The Campaigns area is only available for Emtrain-hosted accounts. This is where you connect learning content with groups of learners and deploy training. Learn more in Understanding Campaigns.
Reports
Come to the Reports area for details on learner completion and quick insights about how your employees have responded to the questions in their training. Learn more about in Understanding Reports. LMS-connected accounts do not have access to learner completion reports, they run them through their LMS.
Site Config
Site Config is where you can update settings and fine-tune how the app works for your organization’s processes and policies.
What’s Inside Site Config
-
- The Session Duration setting controls how long your learners will remain logged into Emtrain if they don't log out manually.
- The setting for Video Closed Captions (CC) determines whether captions appear by default on all videos for your learners.
- The Login Info settings appear here if your account is configured for Employee ID login.
- The Licenses area displays your account’s current licensing data for training content. You can review licenses in use, usage rates, and the days remaining for each license.
- Use the Logo area to upload. You’ll find logo file specifications here, too.
- Set up data connections for your user roster integration, Single Sign On (SSO), social login options, and Emtrain for Slack Integration.
- Create and maintain admin access levels in Admin User Roles. These allow you to fine-tune your admin’s access based on users or functionality. Learn more in Admin Roles.
- Review and select which languages are available for learners to choose from when taking their training.
Content Library
The Content Library houses all content licensed to your account. This is where you can:
- Add required policies before deploying training, including PDFs or URLs for learners to access.
- Preview learning content.
- Change the name of a course or lesson.
- Add and customize certificates of completion for a course or end-of-training messaging for learners.
- Download content as SCORM files (for LMS-connected accounts).
Resources
Find these materials in the Resources area:
- In-depth research reports on workplace culture and industry trends.
- Tip sheets for strengthening workplace skills and compliance.
- Activity sheets to guide group discussions and planning.
- Downloadable templates for organizational communication.
Users
Users include everyone at your organization who has been added to the Emtrain training platform through your roster—all admins and learners. This space provides a complete list of all users and information about them, including their roles and activity. From here, you can:
- Access/Edit User Profiles.
- Add a user.
- Import a roster.
For LMS-connected accounts, the user roster is maintained in the LMS.
Groups
The Groups area is only available for Emtrain-hosted accounts. This is the place to set up, edit, and organize lists of employees to add to the training campaigns you create. Groups come in two types, dynamic and static. With dynamic groups, you set rules that assign users based on their profiles. With static groups, you select and add users manually. Learn more in Understanding Groups.
Intelligence
Use Intelligence to measure, understand, and improve your workplace culture. Emtrain Intelligence provides a comprehensive, longitudinal analysis of workplace culture by focusing on sentiment analysis. This means an evaluation of your organization’s health from a skills-based perspective, moving beyond individual question responses to assess broader skills and attitudes. Additionally, Intelligence enables data segmentation by demographics, departments, or other organizational units—giving you targeted insights and interventions.
