This admin session for Emtrain-hosted accounts walked through how to set up an account from start to deployment, including:
- Site Configuration. Brand your account by uploading your logo and customizing learner settings such as video closed captions and learner language options. Create Admin User Roles to control each administrator’s level of access.
- Available Integrations. Enable single sign-on so learners can access training without managing passwords. Connect your HRIS using Emtrain’s HRIS Integration to automatically sync files between your system and Emtrain. This secure setup adds new hires each week and removes manual profile edits—reducing admin workload and saving time.
- Content Library. Explore powerful filters and see how different versions now appear under a single content title in the updated Content Library. You can edit course titles, configure course completion certificates, preview content, and manage policies directly within each version. Some courses let you adjust the minimum time requirement. Share a live content link without creating a campaign and the learner’s completion automatically records in their profile. A built-in quiz on the Preventing Workplace Harassment–US Content Details Page helps you select the correct version by location and recommends the right courses.
- Users. Add users one at a time or use the Roster Import tool to add or update several at once. Include required data and any information you’ll use for group targeting. Select Employee ID as your CSV Sync Field for consistent tracking. Imports with fewer than 1,000 rows start immediately; larger files queue overnight. Monitor the import status to review any errors by CSV row so you can correct and re-upload quickly.
- Groups. Use Dynamic Groups to automatically organize learners based on profile data—membership updates whenever a profile changes. For audiences that do not have common data, create Static Groups and manually add or remove individuals as needed.
- Campaigns. Choose between Open and Scheduled campaigns and learn when to use each. Create your campaign, select training content, and decide whether to enforce sequence or require assignment approval. Set up and schedule learner notifications, then deploy your campaign with confidence.
- Reporting. Track learner progress through Completion Reports, which display each assignment’s status and completion rate.
